Fayence village whose origin dates back to the tenth century was built sometime in the plain around the Chapel of Our Lady of Cypress is the oldest religious building Christian Fayence , the Romans called " Faventia " ( nice place Latin). Traditional Provençal village built on the hillside , FAYENCE has retained its winding streets, shady squares of plane trees, craft shops and boutiques.


To see: The parish church of St John the Baptist eighteenth , The Clock Tower , La Porte Saracen , The Chapel of Our Lady of Cypress .
Four of Mitan , former bread oven restored tells the story of the making of bread and flour
Agricultural Eco-museum exhibits in a flour mill XIII th century , tools, machines of the past century
The museum "A week in August " include a private collection of objects , weapons and military uniforms.
